Hazelhead Public Courses are home to three courses, MacKenzie Championsip, Pines and Hazlehead 9 Hole.
Although the MacKenzie Championship Course is generally regarded as one of the finest courses in the northeast of Scotland, the 9 Hole course is just as much fun and is often part of a 27-hole day out in the area.
You'd be silly not to at least have a crack at the shorter layout, though, with all sorts of shot needed to get around here.
Wide fairways and gentle rough will make it that little bit more relaxing, but it's not all easy, as a number of large bunkers will look to catch you out.
