The eagerly-anticipated Trump International Golf Links opened in 2012 to enormous fanfare - the first Europe-based golf course by former US president Donald Trump is nothing short of spectacular.
Designed by renowned architect Martin Hawtree, the course makes full use of its stunning natural environment in Aberdeenshire. It is no exaggeration to say that there is not a weak hole on the course, with the par-three 13th and par-four 14th two of the best back-to-back holes you'll find anywhere.
Trump himself calls it "the best golf course in the world", and has visions of it one day hosting an Open Championship, Trump International is maintained to the highest standards, and a supreme test of golf regardless of how strong the wind is blowing in off the encroaching North Sea.
