Although it's called the Wee Course, the nine hole offering at Blairgowrie Golf Club is still a worthy test.
Well regarded amongst the clubs members, it features five par-4s, with the rest of the holes par-3s, meaning it's far from being an afterthought.
As you would expect at Blairgowrie, the course is presented in fantastic condition. The greens are of the same quality as the Rosemount and Lansdowne courses, while if you stray from the fairways you'll be met with ancient silver birch, larch and pine trees.
This is the ideal place to head if you only have time for nine holes, or if you fancy getting a warm-up before tackling one of the longer offerings at this historic club.
