With fine views over the city of Glasgow and beyond, this course is one of the central region's best kept courses. Designed by the world-famous course architect Dr. Alister Mackenzie, it is a thoroughly enjoyable but challenging test of your skills. Surrounded by heather-covered moorland, the tree-lined fairways that pose various problems for those are anything but straight from the tee. The greens are almost plateau like and are guarded by numerous bunkers, so pinpoint accuracy from within 60-yards is paramount if you are to get on the green in regulation. Playing as a 6,321 yard par-72 off the black tees, one of the many highlights is the stunning short par-3 14th named "Auld Nick."
