The views of the Campsie Hills as you drive out of Lennoxtown are quite breathtaking, and the golf course here is every bit as good.
You play along the line of the hills, as the course starts with a charming lift up before dropping back down again at the 17th.
The high point of the round comes at the 13th, although the most noticeable climbs are from holes two to three and 11 to 12. Those two points can be said to be a "good stretch of the legs" but apart from that and a slight slope to your stroll, Campsie is quite physically manageable.
Renowned as one of the most stunning in the country, Campsie is a family-friendly club, and one golfers in the region need to try.
