Dunblane New Golf Club is home to a quality parkland course that provides an enjoyable and testing challenge. Designed by Major Cecil Hutchison and the famous James Braid, this course offers golfers plenty of variety, with some stunning views over the neighbouring Stirlingshire landscape.
The par-3 seventh has ruined many a card when the unwary golfer has allowed their tee shot to leak right into the bunker which runs the full length of the right hand side of the green. The target area is bigger than is looks from the tee, so be bold.
The view from the tenth tee is fantastic, and it comes as you play one of the best holes on the course, a short par-4 that features a dog-leg to a small, sloping green.
The final hole is a great chance to make a birdie, a short par-5 that heads back to the clubhouse.
