Pumpherston Golf Club is home to excellent facilities, based in West Lothian. The club has recently welcomed some new developments, with a new clubhouse along with a great golf course.
Pumpherston has developed into one of Scotland's most promising layouts. A number of holes stick in the memory, for instance the magnificent views of the Pentland Hills from the second hole, which is named 'Pomferstoun.' A shot of around 210 yards is ideal, leaving another long iron into a well guarded green.
The 13th is another memorable one, with huge willow trees framing the green on this short par-3.
The short par-4 16th is also a favourite, with the green being built around a pond, tightening your approach shot.
