Set just north of Troon in golf-rich Ayrshire, Dundonald Links is a true haven for local and travelling players alike.

Designed by Kyle Phillips, the architect behind Kingsbarns and The Grove, Dundonald is a regular in top 100 golf course rankings around the world.

Opened in 2005, Dundonald plays anything from 6,400 to 7,300 yards, making it as welcome as an enjoyable members' track as it is a challenging championship links. Indeed, in its short history it has already hosted a number of top-level events, including both the men's and women's Scottish Opens, as well as being an Open Final Qualifying venue through until at least 2026.

Now owned by Darwin Leisure, who spent £25 million upgrading the facilities, including the clubhouse and on-site accommodation - including lodges that have their own private practice putting greens - Dundonald is truly a five-star experience from the moment you drive onto the property to the moment you leave.
