Designed by Harry Colt in 1914, the Eden course at St Andrews bears many of the famous architect's trademarks. A strategic layout, with arguably the most undulating greens of any of the Trust's links.
There's a not a lot of quirkiness going on at the Eden - it's about as straightforward a links as you'll play. But that's not to say it isn't fun.
The seventh - a par-4 that barely stretches to 300 yards - is a particularly enjoyable challenge. Avoid the gorse (and the North Sea) and your approach is into a long, narrow green that will test every bit of your approach play.
