Abernethy Golf Club features a nine-hole course, which winds its way through the stunning backdrop of Aviemore.
A traditional Highland course, it's home to imposing pine trees that make for a challenging but relatively short round. This is a course that's always open to visitors, making it ideal for those in the area looking for a quick round.
The seventh hole is the signature hole at Abernethy. Measuring just over 400 yards, it requires a good drive to reach the fairway, before an approach up a short but steep hill to a small green.
Playing to a small green certainly isn't something exclusive to the seventh, with tiny putting surfaces one of the many challenges. As well as that, if you find yourself off the fairway, you're going to most likely be searching in heather for your ball.
If nine holes isn't enough for you, the club encourage you to play the course a second time to make up a full 18.
