The team at Macdonald Aviemore Resort has an excellent prize to give away, in the form of a two-night stay at its Aviemore hotel for two people.

It is shaping up to be an exciting year for Spey Valley, with the course set to host a EuroPro Tour event in September.

It has previously staged the Scottish Hydro Challenge on the Challenge Tour, with some top names from the world of golf competing here. It was Brooks Koepka, while playing in this event, who set the course record several years ago. You can follow in his footsteps, while enjoying the luxury of the neighbouring hotel between your rounds, just by entering this competition.

The course is an inland layout and is routed alongside the stunning River Spey. You’ll

need your Sunday best on the par-5 fifth, one of the longest holes in Scotland. It measures a whopping 635 yards from the back tees. The next hole is another tough test, a lengthy par-3 over a beautiful loch.  

When you get off the course, you’ll be greeted by luxury facilities not far from the clubhouse, with all the fabulous hospitality that Aviemore has to offer.
