It’s US Open week and that can only mean one thing – limited edition gear!

Last week, we saw Callaway’s Oakmont inspired bags and headcovers its staffers will be using during the event. This week, adidas has put its effort forward in the form of specially designed Tour360 boost shoes.

There’s some limited edition US Open adidas clothing to get your teeth into.

Cobra revealed the limited edition bag Rickie Fowler and Bryson DeChambeau will be using.

Edel Golf is in on the act, too. Is this the headcover we’ll be seeing on Bryson DeChambeau’s putter this week?

Russell Knox can’t find a driver

Inverness-born PGA Tour star Russell Knox appears to still be struggling to find a driver that works for him after breaking his nine-degree Cleveland Classic XL driver ahead of the Irish Open.

Knox had used the driver for several years including during his win at the WGC-HSBC Champions, but is now on the lookout for a new gamer. Here was his response to being asked about his driver search:

“I just got off the phone to my equipment provider actually. Neither of the drivers at the Memorial were particularly good, to be honest, so the search continues,” he said.

“It’s not the ideal position to be in, I was driving the ball as well as I ever have done with the old driver before it broke in Ireland, so that was a real shame. But it’s part and parcel of golf, and it happens to everyone and I’m sure I’ll fine one eventually that I get along with.”

New Ping Vault putters on tour

Spotted on the putting green last week at the St Jude Classic, these four new Vault putters from Ping are expected to be released to the wider golfing public soon.

The putters – two blades and two mallets – boast shapes that will be familiar to Ping flatstick fans, but it’s the face milling that appears to be new.

Full details are expected later this summer.
