17. Masters farewell
An emotional Palmer prepares to sink his final putt at Augusta National after bowing out of the Masters in 2004. Then aged 74, he hadn’t made a cut at the tournament since 1983. Afterwards he said: “Augusta and this golf tournament has been about (as much) a part of my life as anything other than my family. I don’t think I could ever separate myself from this club and this tournament.”
