Loch Lomond
Everybody loves Loch Lomond! The exclusive venue is no stranger to hosting major golf tournaments – after all, it was the venue for 10 editions of the Scottish Open between 2000 and 2010, and many Scottish golf fans still hanker for its return. Its par-71, 7,100 yard course was designed by Tom Weiskopf and opened in 1993, regularly featuring on lists of the world’s top courses. It’s also ideally located just a short drive from Glasgow, meaning the infrastructure needed to stage a Ryder Cup is mostly in place.
