LIV golf Tulsa preview

TPC Deere Run will set up for its annual birdie-fest on the PGA Tour this week, as many of the top players in the world take a break before the Scottish Open and Open Championship.

Only three times since 2008 has the winning score not reached 20-under-par, so those who can capitalise with scoring prowess should enjoy conditions in Illinois.

All eyes will remain on European Ryder Cup hopeful Ludvig Aberg, who has enjoyed an excellent start to life on the PGA Tour and will stay in the Midwest after playing in Detroit.

And this was a happy hunting ground for the American Ryder Cup captain, Steve Stricker, who triumphed in three consecutive years between 2009 and 2011.

Here’s all the info you need ahead of the next stop on the PGA Tour…

The bunkered bet

Callum Tarren 100/1

There could be some value in keeping the Englishman on side this week. After a dire start to the year, Tarren’s results of late are trending in the right direction and he put in a clinic from tee-to-green last week, just to be let down by his putter.

The 32-year-old ranked first in the field from tee-to-green, second off the tee, and ninth on approach, but lost over eight strokes with his putter. Tarren also finished T6 at the John Deere Classic last year.

Please gamble responsibly.
