PGA Tour stars make the long journey to Japan this week for the ZOZO Championship.

The co-sanctioned event between the American circuit and the Japan Golf Tour has a limited field, with some star names heading to Asia for the 2023 event.

European Ryder Cup heroes Tommy Fleetwood and Tyrrell Hatton will be both be teeing it up, alongside fellow Englishmen Aaron Rai and Matt Wallace.

Keegan Bradley will defend his title at Narashino Country Club in Chiba after claiming his first PGA Tour crown in four years when he edged out American compatriots Rickie Fowler and Andrew Putnam in last year’s tournament.

Other notable names in the field this year include Fowler, South Korean star Tom Kim and US Open champion Wyndham Clark.

The ZOZO Championship has been growing in popularity ever since the Narashino Country Club first staged the tournament in 2019.

A certain Tiger Woods won the inaugural edition of the event, securing a record-equalling 82nd PGA Tour title four years ago.

The 15-time major champion won by three shots in the rain-delayed event as he held off a charge from home favourite Hideki Matsuyama to win his first tournament since his famous Masters triumph in April of the same year.
