WITB: What’s in Akshay Bhatia’s bag?

You might not have been aware of him up until recently, but Akshay Bhatia is making a name for himself on the PGA Tour. The left-hander made it to this year’s Tour Championship and is one of the more exciting players to watch on the circuit. But what clubs does Akshay Bhatia use?

The left-hander is a Callaway staff player and uses a full bag of the brand’s equipment. One of the most noticeable parts of Bhatia’s equipment is his putter, which is a broomstick model. The club features a 44” shaft and the young American has been using it since September 2023.

Further up the bag, there’s also an older model of driver, with Bhatia using a Callaway Rogue ST Max LS model from Callaway. This is something he’s used for several years and driving is one of the strongest parts of his game. Clearly, it’s not broken, so why should Bhatia fix it?

Bhatia is also one of many players to be using a mini driver on the course. He’s got the latest model from Callaway, the Paradym Ai Smoke Ti 340 in the bag, which is an alternative for him both off the tee and the deck.
