Collin Morikawa has been one of golf’s most consistent performers in recent years, with two major championship wins, the Open and the US PGA Championship under his belt. But what clubs does Collin Morikawa play?

The American is famed for his laser-like accuracy with his irons, hitting powerful fades that seem to always be heading for the target. But, it’s not just the irons that make up his bag. Let’s take a closer look at what’s inside…

What’s in Collin Morikawa’s bag?

Collin Morikawa is going into the 2024 season as a top-15 ranked player in the world, and he’ll be hoping to improve on that with a bag full of TaylorMade clubs.

The two-time Ryder Cup player has been with TaylorMade since the start of his professional career in 2019.

In that time, he’s been loyal to the brand, but he hasn’t always used their most up-to-date equipment. In 2023, Morikawa was using the TaylorMade SIM driver, a model which debuted in 2020.

However, a new clip posted on X from TaylorMade, shows that Morikawa has the brand-new TaylorMade Qi10 Max driver in the bag. While he’s not put that in play in a tournament yet, if he does, it would be interesting for a couple of reasons.

Firstly, it’s a change from the TaylorMade SIM, which Morikawa has relied on for several years now. It’s also a driver that is designed to help players to draw the golf ball, something which might appeal to higher handicappers. However, it clearly appeals to the former Open champion, too.

At the Masters, where Morikawa is at the right end of the leader board, Morikawa has the Qi10 LS in play, rather than the Max model.

Of course, this might yet change throughout the year, and if it does, this will be the place to find all the details.

What putter is Collin Morikawa using?

At the Masters, where Collin Morikawa is contending at the right end of the leaderboard, Morikawa has made a mid-tournament putter change.

Before the event, he was testing out the TaylorMade Spider Tour X putter. That remained in the bag for the first round at Augusta National, where Morikawa shot a 71. However, Morikawa clearly wasn’t totally satisfied with his performance on the greens, as the Spider Tour X shape was out of the bag.

That was in favour of an old faithful blade, the TaylorMade TP Soto, which is now in play for rounds two and three. And for the moment, it seems to be working!
