Galvin Green: 5 hot new releases

Galvin Green recently announced the launch of its ‘2016 Part 2’ collection featuring a range of golf-specific apparel that includes a host of new styles and colours.

The official team supplier of weatherwear to Europe’s Ryder Cup team, the Swedish brand has extended its offering with new waterproof jackets and trousers, pullovers, shirts, shorts, hats, gloves, socks, base layers and accessories.

All in all, there are more than 250 lines in almost 100 different style options. According to the brand, this makes it the largest clothing range of its kind, and we’ve picked out five of the hottest garments from the recently announced release.

1.   ADDISON – £300

This is the new flagship GORE-TEX jacket in the men’s range and is made from a stretch fabric with a mesh lining. There are four colour options, including the new Plum (pictured), and it is available in a half-zip option.

2. BART – £180

The brand’s newest GORE-WINDSTOPPER, it is made using a Soft Shell fabric to keep out the windchill and sustain a core body temperature that allows you to focus on the game.

3. MAPPING – £100

Both stylish and functional, the new MAPPING polo from Galvin Green is equipped with the brand’s Ventil8 technology keeping you both comfortable and cool in warm conditions. It also features a UV protection factor of 20+ and is available in four different colours.

4. AIDA – £250

The headline maker in the ladies range, this is a waterproof full zip jacket that uses GORE-TEX Paclite Technology fabric. As such, it can packed into the smallest of spaces without becoming creased.

5. BELLA – £175

Brand new for this year, it is a full-zip body warmer that both looks cool and performs. Taking inspiration from the current fashion trends, it has Galvin Green’s WINDSTOPPER lining meaning you will be protected against the wind. It is available in two colour options – Steel Grey and Black.
