VEGA is well known for its premium forged irons and blades aimed at elite players, but now it has something for all skill levels as it expands its club range.

Vega offers two distinct lines: the Classic Line, characterised by traditional one-piece forging, meticulous handcrafting, and polishing, and the Star Line, designed for forgiveness without compromising performance.

The Star Line, headlined by the Mizar irons, incorporates modern manufacturing techniques while preserving the brand’s distinctive aesthetic.

“VEGA is renowned for its expertise in manufacturing forged irons of the highest quality, but we are keen for golfers to understand it is not just the better players it caters for – it’s golfers of all abilities,” said PGE CEO, Peter Lord

Vega’s latest offerings, the Mizar and Mizar Pro irons, maintain the 3.5mm thick maraging steel undercut face and one-piece S25C carbon steel forged body of their predecessors.

They have introduced a flighted centre of gravity where in the longer irons they feature tungsten weights for a lower CG, mid-irons have a lighter titanium inset, and short irons feature aluminium insets for a controlled trajectory. Vega irons

The Mizar Pro retains a classic blade appearance, featuring one-piece ultra-soft S20C forging with a screw port in the toe.

Long and mid-irons incorporate titanium screws, while aluminium insets are used for the short irons, allowing players to fine-tune their swing weights. Vega irons

The upgraded Mizar family extends to the Mizar Plus and Mizar Tour irons, offering enhanced forgiveness and accessibility.

The Mizar Plus boasts a larger head with consistent insert thickness, combining forgiveness with power through a thin maraging face. Weight bars near the sole shift the CG lower for high launch and low spin.

And the Mizar Tour features a one-piece S25C carbon steel body and a softer carbon steel face insert for a remarkable feel and forgiveness. Its constant thickness of 3.5mm soft carbon steel face further enhances the feel.

Complementing the Mizar irons is the Mizar Max driving iron, the fastest in the family and the only one in the market with a titanium face, boosting ball speeds.

Its design features a thin topline, a squat heel-to-toe profile, and a wide sole with leading and trailing edge relief.

VEGA’s SST Pure Shaft Alignment System is an added advantage, eliminating shaft inconsistencies to enhance accuracy and distance. VEGA is the sole brand currently offering this technology as standard in ‘off-the-shelf’ retail clubs.
