2. David Feherty (1991)

He’s been in the broadcasting game for so long, it’s easy to forget that Feherty was a successful European Tour player. A five-time winner on the circuit, he made his one and only Ryder Cup appearance in 1991 aided by a T7 finish at the US PGA Championship. After that, his best major finish of T4 came at the 1994 Open before he retired from tour golf aged 39.
