5. Casey’s hole-in-one
At The K Club in 2006, Paul Casey aced the 213-yard 14th hole to win a foursomes match alongside David Howell over US pair Stewart Cink and Zach Johnson. “It’s just unbelievable, that’s my first hole-in-one in a professional tournament,” said Casey afterwards. His was only the fifth hole-in-one in Ryder Cup history, and the first since Howard Clark in 1995.
