Another punter from Dublin, another huge winner! You could almost say it’s the luck of the Irish. Anyway, on this occasion it involved a €2.50 e/w double on Alvaro Quiros to win the Rocco Forte Open and Billy Horschel to win the AT&T Byron Nelson.
Both players defied the odds to do just that and net the punter €41,380 and, what’s more, the person had also stuck €2.50 on each player as a single bet to earn another €760. Not a bad weekend’s work.
