2. Wear a hat

If you have even a half-decent head of hair, it can be hard to apply sunscreen to your scalp… but hair won’t keep out the sun’s UV rays. A wide-brimmed hat is the best solution but, if that’s not your thing, a baseball cap is absolutely the way to go. Make sure to choose one that is made of a thick material and isn’t part-mesh. This is about function first, style second. And if you do go with a cap, make sure to apply plenty of sunscreen to your ears and the back of your neck.
