Introduced in 2015, the AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open is back and hands a spectacular debut to one of the finest new courses in the world.

That’s right, the Louis Oosthuizen-designed La Reserve Links along the shores of Mauritius will be in the spotlight it deserves.

The par-72 championship course is the first of its kind in the Indian Ocean, with Oosthuizen’s links expertise put to good use.

Fresh off winning in his native South Africa last week, the Stingers GC captain is the open LIV golfer in the field and will be looking to record back-to-back triumphs.

Fellow LIV player Dean Burmester has already achieved that feat on the DP World Tour this season, with Oosthuizen poised to continue the breakaway league’s winning run.

With a new course, new players and a new season, excitement is rife for Mauritius’ only stop, as the DP World Tour’s Opening Swing ends.

The bunkered Bet

Louis Oosthuizen 13/2

The South African should know his way around this place better than anyone, he designed it after all. A win last week was Oosthuizen’s 10th on the DP World Tour and his Sunday showing last week shows he still has what it takes to get over the line. Dean Burmester went back-to-back, and Oosthuizen can follow too.

Please gamble responsibly.
