The total FedEx Cup prize money for the 2023 PGA Tour season was a staggering $75 million.

It was the same bonus structure as the 2022 season, where Rory McIlroy took home a huge chunk of that purse with an $18m cheque after an epic victory in the Tour Championship at East Lake.

This year’s FedEx Cup Playoffs worked slightly differently, with only 70 players reaching the PGA Tour’s post-season instead of 125, with three events to determine the 2023 champion.
