Jack Nicklaus and Justin Thomas launch golf club in Florida

You’ll need a small fortune to have a go around this one, but the Justin Thomas and Jack Nicklaus-designed Panther National is here.

The championship golf course in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, has opened with scarily high joining fees.

Club memberships start with an initial $500,000 payment and an annual fee of around $30k, meaning it most definitely is “a lifestyle few experience”.

It’s part of an ultra-modern golf and lifestyle community that ‘redefines premium gated living’ by offering over 200 multi-million-dollar homes.

If you’ve come for the golf, then Panther National is an 18-hole, links-style Jack Nicklaus Signature Course that boasts seven sets of tees.

That means it can be played almost anywhere between 7,864 yards, from the “JT” monogrammed far-back tees, down to as short as 4,500 yards from the front tees.

With over 400 acres of flat land to work with, the team added 50-foot-plus elevations throughout the course, whilst creating a nine-hole par-3 course, a one-acre putting course and a practice area.

There’s also a pro shop, gym, indoor golf facility, spa, lifestyle club and pool on site, but don’t fret, you can get a discount.

All you need to do is become a Panther National homeowner, and, before you know it, the first expenditure is just $400,000 – saving you 20%.

It’s unrealistic, but plenty have forked out the cash so far. Frank Weed, CEO of Panther National, said they’ve sold about $300 million in real estate so far, with celebrities among the buyers.

The homes cost in the region of $3.5 million and $12 million.
