Fancy having your own back garden putting green, CBS commentator Jim Nantz next door, or even a view of the 13th hole at Pebble Beach.

Well, you’re in luck. All that could be yours, but there is one small caveat. A spare $39 million might help.

That’s because an extraordinary 7,400-square-foot mansion next to the iconic California golf course is up for sale.

Automotive accessories tycoon David MacNeil currently owns the three-acre property, which boasts seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms.

Really, you might need a bit more than the asking price, as there are also the $67,000 annual property taxes – assessed on the pre-renovation value of $6.3 million.

Purchase at this price would make it the most expensive individual home sale in the history of Pebble Beach, around $3 million more than a 15,000-sqft oceanfront estate that sold in 2022.

Now, for that money, you’d be hoping for a few more perks than some fancy bedrooms and bathrooms, maybe even a spot in the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.

While that dream of lining up in the Signature Event with a star-studded field and pumped-up prize purse isn’t guaranteed, here’s what you can expect.

A separate guesthouse on property is a nice touch, to begin with, meanwhile, the house itself features two full offices, a lower sporting level and a 1,000-bottle wine cellar.

Move outdoors, and how about a lighted putting green, outdoor kitchen and tournament-calibre bocce court?

For the tech-lovers, solar panels, a backup generator and a 30,000-gallon rainwater collection system help soften the blow of this wallet buster.

The property, which was built in 2000 also provides breathtaking views of Carmel Bay, Point Lobos, and the Grand Pacific.

MacNeil hired Monterey-based Holdren + Lietzke Architecture to redesign it with a copper roof and a custom front door.

The Weather-Tech founder claimed renovations on the house cost over $10 million, while he has used it as a guesthouse and has stayed there himself during recent visits to the area.

He told Mansion Global: “If I keep it, phenomenal. I love it.

“On the other side of the coin, let’s see if we can find a great family that wants to live in this house. It’s a phenomenal house and it deserves a great family.”
