Pure Golf is celebrating after being named ‘Brand of the Year’ at the second annual Women in Golf Awards.

Held at Walton Heath Golf Club during the AIG Women’s Open, the awards celebrate the significant contribution that women past and present, continue to make to the golf industry.

Family-owned Pure Golf launched in the summer of 2021, creating affordable, high-quality ladies’ golf clothing that doesn’t compromise on design, function and fit.

The extensive range features two concepts: core essentials such as polo shirts, mid-layers, jackets, bottoms and accessories, and a fashion collection that nods to the prints and colours of the season.

Both feature the same colours, so items from each can combine seamlessly for a variety of outfits to suit every taste.

Christina Smith, who heads up Pure Golf, is no stranger to the industry, having established popular golf accessory company Surprizeshop, winner of the inaugural ‘Brand of the Year’ title in 2022.

With over 30 years’ industry experience and a true understanding of not only her customers but also the requirements of pro shops to give them greater selling power, Christina acknowledged the gap in the market for affordable ladies’ golf clothing and so Pure Golf was born.

“This is an award for my whole family and our team because they are all amazing and genuinely care about their hard work,” she explained. “Customers come to us because of what we do, but they leave knowing who we are, and that’s just as important to me.

“Whether our customers are new golfers, county players, golf pros, people from other golf businesses, charities, or professional golfers like Charley Hull and Georgia Hall who choose to wear our visors, we hugely believe in valuing people for who they are and not just for what they can or have achieved.”
