What a start to this young man’s Ryder Cup career. Scratch that, his career full stop. The reason everyone keeps bringing up the fact he was still an amateur just three months ago is because no one can quite believe it. Won 4&3 and a record-breaking 9&7 alongside Viktor Hovland in the fourballs, but ran out of steam in Saturday’s fourballs and the singles. It didn’t matter. This kid proved he can do it on the biggest stage, and will be around for a long time.
