The Trump Organization’s Scottish golf resorts have scooped two awards at the prestigious World Golf Awards in Abu Dhabi.

Trump International Golf Links in Aberdeen was named the Best Golf Course in Scotland 2023, while Trump Turnberry in Ayr was awarded World’s Best Halfway House.

Nominees from 65 nations across North America, Latin America, Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia and the Middle East were involved in the awards.

Sarah Malone, Executive Vice President of Trump International Scotland, was delighted to take home the desired prizes.

Speaking at the awards ceremony, she said: “We are immensely proud to receive the coveted award for Best Golf Course in Scotland here in Abu Dhabi.

“2023 marks an exciting new chapter for Trump International, Scotland.

“We broke ground on another world-class championship links among the Great Dunes of Scotland and hosted the Legends Tour, PGA Seniors Championship – the world’s oldest seniors’ tournament, this year.”

Ralph Porciani, General Manager at Trump Turnberry, said: “Preserving and respecting our history is vital in everything we do here at Trump Turnberry, and we always want to find new ways to create experiences for our guests that pay homage to our heritage.

“That’s why the decision was taken to create the halfway house in 2016, allowing golfers to enjoy this one-of-a-kind Scottish landmark, and we are delighted to see it named the world’s best for the fourth year in a row.”
