The PLAYERS Championship 2024: Prize money payout in full

Scottie Scheffler is inevitable.

The World No.1 proved just that in Ponte Vedra Beach on Sunday, claiming his eight PGA Tour win.

Scheffler is yet to win on the American circuit in any month outside of February, March and April, as a final round 64 propelled him to his latest scalp.

In the process, the 27-year-old became the first player to defend the TPC Sawgrass title since its inception 50 years ago.

Scheffler’s work was done for the day, paving the way for Wyndham Clark to steal the headlines on the Florida golf course.

Clark’s birdie putt on 18 somehow failed to drop, leaving him with an all too familiar feeling – losing to Scheffler. The pair filled the same finishing spots at last week’s Arnold Palmer Invitational.

Meanwhile, Clark wasn’t the only one to finish just shy of forcing a play-off. Xander Schauffele and Brian Harman rounded out an American three-way tie for second place.

Heartbreak for the chasing pack, and ecstasy for Scheffler. One certainty was a healthy payout for those at the top of the leaderboard.
