Thomas Bjorn: Twitter reacts to captaincy

Players and fans alike have been voicing their opinions after Thomas Bjorn was named European captain for the 2018 Ryder Cup.

The Dane, who will be tasked with winning back the trophy after the 17-11 defeat to USA two months ago, has played in three Ryder Cups and been vice-captain on four separate occasions – including at Hazeltine.

And, in his role as chairman of the Players’ Committee on the European Tour, it’s no surprise that his appointment has been well received by his peers.
