Former world No.1 Tiger Woods has been accused of sexual harassment by his ex-girlfriend Erica Herman.

In new court documents filed in a Florida court on Friday, Herman alleges that Woods pursued a sexual relationship with her when she was his employee. She goes on to claim that he forced her to sign a non-disclosure agreement about it, or face being fired if she did not.

Herman was the manager of the 15-time major champion’s restaurant, The Woods, in Florida when they began their relationship.

They split last October and have been embroiled in a legal battle with one another ever since, with Herman seeking more than $30m in damages after being locked of the home she claims to have shared with Woods as part of an oral tenancy agreement.

The latest document filed by Herman’s attorney Benjamin Hodas states: “Tiger Woods, the internationally renowned athlete and one of the most powerful figures in global sports, decided to pursue a sexual relationship with his employee, then – according to him – forced her to sign an NDA about it or else be fired from her job.

“When he became disgruntled with their sexual relationship, he tricked her into leaving her home, locked her out, took her cash, pets, and personal possessions, and tried to strong-arm her into signing a different NDA.”

The document also claims: “On Mr. Woods’s own portrayal of events, he imposed an NDA on her as a condition to keep her job when she began having a sexual relationship with him. A boss imposing different work conditions on his employee because of their sexual relationship is sexual harassment.”

Woods’ legal representatives have not yet responded to the latest claims but have previously described Herman as a “jilted ex girlfriend” who claims are “utterly meritless”.

Woods made his most recent public appearance at last month’s Masters Tournament where he withdrew ahead of the final day’s play.

He subsequently underwent a subtalar fusion in his right foot, a procedure which could sideline him for the next 12 months according to medical experts.
