Fancy playing one of the oldest golf courses in the world this winter? Look no further than Fortose & Rosemarkie.

Located just 20 minutes north of Inverness, this stunning track is contained within a narrow peninsula – Chanonry Point – that juts out into the Moray Firth, so breathtaking views come as standard.

The 15th oldest recorded golf club in the world, the course here was redesigned by the great James Braid in 1932 and has gone on to host a multitude of high-profile championships. It has picked up plenty of accolades along the way, too.

It was recognised for its outstanding value for money at the Scottish Golf Tourism Awards in 2018 and, just last year, was honoured with an ‘Outstanding Service Award’ by the International Golf Tour Operators Association.

Playable all year round, why not check it out this winter? You won’t be disappointed.
