Three is the magic number as Callaway launches latest wet weather gear

Callaway has revealed its new Stormguard III Rain Suit.  

The brand’s new waterproof gear is its most premium yet, and it is also windproof, breathable, durable, and incredibly comfortable. What more can you ask for?

“In Stormguard III, we are confident we have created a rain suit that can lead the market in terms of performance,” Helen Willsmer, Callaway Apparel’s brand director explained. “After extensive R&D and wear-testing, we have, without doubt, manufactured our finest waterproof suit ever.

“It’s the ultimate high-performance rain suit for the committed male golfer that plays all-year-round, and demands the best.” 

Engineered from fully seam-sealed Singtex Protector fabric, the back of the jacket features new Motion Bi-Swing back pleat inserts, offering enhanced mobility. 

A unique benefit of this design gives the golfer the swing-reach required without adding unnecessary restriction or bulk to the jacket.  

Seaming technology lays flat and hidden when not in use, whereas during the golf swing the pleats open up to give the player unrestricted room to complete their shot, further enhancing the comfort offered by the Stormguard III jacket.

An adjustable toggle hem allows for a perfect custom fit in the main body, while a ‘Droptail’ design, featuring a silicone gripper, prevents the garment from riding up or moving during the golf swing. 

The Stormguard III jacket benefits from adjustable Velcro tab cuffs on the sleeves, plus storm cuffs to keep out the rain. Aqua Guard water-resistant zippers also feature throughout, plus a fleece-lined collar for comfort and warmth. 

In the accompanying trousers, an adjustable waist design ensures a perfect fit, while Aqua Guard water-resistant side pockets and zippers ensure any valuables will be protected from the elements. 

Adding to the fully ‘custom-fit’ nature of the trousers, a lower zip hem allows them to be put on and taken off without the need to remove golf shoes, while an adjustable trouser width feature creates the opportunity to configure a slimmer fit. 

To complete the Callaway look, there is a heat-sealed tour logo branding featured on the right sleeve, a subtle Chev icon is positioned on the back collar, and Stormguard branding can be seen on the lower left side panel.
