GEAR SHORTS: TaylorMade mark irons week, POW! for Paige

Brian Stuard won for the first time on the PGA Tour at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans and did so after an inspired putter change.

Last Tuesday, before the Valero Texas Open, he switched to the Odyssey Fang and immediately reaped the benefits, with just 21 putts in his opening round, while during the week, he was 44/44 from inside 10ft.

“I stuck the old putter in the trunk of my car. This new one might be in the bag for a while.” With that win, we sure think that’ll be the case!
