Preview the 2023 Ryder Cup course with Shot Scope

The Ryder Cup begins near Rome this week and Shot Scope’s latest feature aerial maps, allows you to preview Marco Simone GC hole by hole. 

Shot Scope already offer some of the best GPS devices and rangefinders and with the latest feature, you can look at the holes that Team Europe and Team USA will be playing this week.  

To access this feature, users should head to the ‘rounds’ page on the Shot Scope app and select the ‘+’ sign in the bottom right corner. From here, you will have the option of selecting GPS or Preview Course. 

When you select preview mode all you have to do is type in the course you wish to preview and select it, which in this case is Marco Simone GC.

On the course you wish to see, there will be a hole flyover like you would see in a course guide. On the preview screen, you will have the yardage of the hole, the distances to the point in the fairway and the yardage left into the green.

You’ll also be able to see all the doglegs and hazards and by zooming in, you can take a closer look at the bunkers and water hazards which may play a big factor this week in Italy. 

If you are a Shot Scope user or are thinking about getting one, having the ability to preview a course when you’ve not played can be massively beneficial when it comes to course management.
