8. Tommy Nakajima

When people talk of Nakajima, most discuss his disastrous nine at the ‘Road Hole’ in the 1978 Open. However, that wasn’t his worst score in a major that year… he actually had a 13 in the Masters at Augusta National’s 13th. “I promised myself to make an eagle but I tried too hard,” he said afterwards.
