6. Phil slays Watson

After the disastrous performance of USA at Gleneagles, Phil Mickelson turned up the heat on Tom Watson once proceedings had finished on Sunday. “We had a great formula in ’08, I don’t know why we strayed,” Mickelson said afterwards in front of Watson. “I don’t know why we don’t go back. What Zinger did was great.”
