Bryson DeChambeau is set for a couple of months on the sidelines after undergoing surgery following a freak table tennis injury.
The former US Open champion fractured a bone in his hand after slipping on a wet marble floor whilst playing ping pong in Saudi Arabia in February.
After initially trying to play through the pain barrier, he has been forced to go under the knife in a bid to finally fix the problem.
DeChambeau, however, isn’t the first tour pro to do himself a mischief in an unusual way.
