The 2023 Ryder Cup is one of the hottest tickets in golf, and demand for tickets is high.

But when do briefs go on sale for next year’s battle at Marco Simone Golf and Country Club?

Unfortunately if you didn’t enter the ballot you’ve missed your chance to apply for tickets through the conventional methods. It ran for a month and closed on October 16.

However, it’s worth keeping an eye on the official Ryder Cup website in case more become available for the showdown in Rome next year.

Weekly tickets have already sold out, as have briefs for the Vista and Terrace on competition days.

If you are lucky enough to get a ticket, you’ll need to be prepared to fork out. Day tickets start at €50 for Tuesday’s practice day, rising to €250 for the tournament proper and €260 for the deciding day’s play on Sunday.

“Premium” packages, meanwhile, remain available and according to the tournament ticketing site are the best way to guarantee your place in Rome.

However, there are various packages, all costing several hundred pounds per person – with some running into the thousands.

Planning on taking a chance on a ticket bought through a resale website? Think again – tournament bosses say only briefs bought through official channels will be valid. Those bought from resellers will not be valid and you won’t be allowed into the grounds.
