Conwy

Par 3 | 156 yards

This gem of a course is one of the finest in Wales and provides a terrific test in the winds of the Caernarvonshire coastline. There are numerous standout holes on this excellent track but the finest is probably the second, a par-3 nestled in some of the many rolling dunes that feature across the course.

It is a delightful links-style hole, defended on the left by a tricky little swale and on the right by three deep bunkers. It has a narrow thin green that stretches away from the player on the tee and slopes from left to right. It’s a tricky green to land your ball on, so aim for the middle of the putting surface, take your two putts and move to the third.
The excitement only ramps up after the first few holes at Conwy.

Despite being fairly flat, there is still enough variety and character that the course avoids monotony. The back nine prominently features the presence of the bay and the mountains sitting above Llandudno to ensure that you can enjoy making your way around a championship course, whilst being surrounded by stunning views.
