Kingsbarns celebrates 12th year by hosting Belhaven Best Spring Cup

Hitting high: The competition is set to be a great social, culinary and golfing event

In order to celebrate their 12th year since opening, Kingsbarns Golf Links are hosting the inaugural round of the Belhaven Best Spring Cup. The tournament will take place from March 29-31, 2012.

The competition is set to provide some outstanding golf as well as being an exciting social and culinary event; with competitors receiving 3 nights dining and accommodation in the 5 red star Old Course Hotel. While dining, competitors are also to be provided with a selection of the Belhaven Brewery’s finest ales.

The 54-hole tournament will be hosted at two venues. The first and final rounds are to be held at Kingsbarns, with the second taking place at the stunning Dukes Course near St Andrews. It is also to be played in teams of four in a better ball stableford format.

The chief executive of Kingsbarns said “We are delighted to be working with the Old Course Hotel to offer golfers a combination of world class golfing and dining.”

Since opening, Kingsbarns has regularly featured in top 100 golf courses rankings in the world and is well known for providing stunning coastal views.

The package costs £725 per person based on a team of four with a total team cost of £2900. The rates are based on two people sharing a double/twin Eden room.
