China’s Ruoning Yin claimed her maiden major title as she overcame a world-class field to win the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship at Baltusrol.
The 20-year-old sealed her second LPGA Tour victory of the season with a bogey-free 67 on a weather delayed final day in New Jersey.
Yin birdied her 72nd hole to hold off former US Women’s Open champion Yuka Saso, whilst overnight leader Leona Maguire faltered to finish T11 on a disappointing Sunday.

Rose Zhang, the sensation who won on her first LPGA start as pro earlier this month, made a Sunday charge before finishing in a tie for eight.
But it was Yin’s day, as the youngster announced herself on the big stage with a nerveless performance in the second women’s major of the season.
A record $10 million prize fund was on offer in this year’s tournament, with plenty of star names earning huge sums for strong finishes at Baltusrol.
Here’s a look at who won what at the 2023 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship…
