Ruoning Yin claimed her first major championship over the weekend, with a fantastic display of ball striking.

The 20-year-old sensationally hit all 36 greens in regulation over her final two rounds at Baltusrol. That helped her to a total of eight-under-par for the tournament, enough for a one-shot victory in the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship.

In fact, Yin only missed six greens throughout the entire week. Her birdie on the final hole was the Chinese player’s fourth of the day and the eighth of the weekend, enough to hold off a star studded field in a dramatic finish.

The course’s closing two holes certainly provided drama, with the two par-5s meaning those within a couple of shots were in with a chance at the title.

However, there was no drama for Yin, who didn’t drop a shot in her final round and made four at the last to claim the title in only her fourth start in a major.

Yin started the final round three shots behind the leader, Leona Maguire, but her final round of four-under-par, that was bogey free, helped her to the top of the leaderboard.

In her bag, it’s a full Callaway set-up, a common theme at the second women’s major of the year.

The Paradym was the No.1 driver in the field at the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship, with Yuka Saso and Rose Zhang also gaming the driver. As well as that, they all had the Chrome Soft X ball and Odyssey putters in the bag.
