LIV Golf’s annual Australian party is back.

After a successful debut in 2023, the Saudi-backed circuit returns to the Grange Golf Club, a course recently re-designed by LIV commissioner and CEO Greg Norman.

It also marks a home game for the Ripper GC quartet of Cameron Smith, Marc Leishman, Lucas Herbert and Matt Jones.

Smith was one of 13 LIV golfers in the Masters field last week and was only pipped by Bryson DeChambeau in the LIV Golf leaderboard.

They’ll swap the 12th at Augusta National for the ‘watering hole’ this week, which is set to stake its claim as golf’s most raucous hole once again.

It witnessed LIV Golf’s first hole-in-one last year when Chase Koepka carded an ace on hole 12.

Meanwhile, Talor Gooch will defend his title in Adelaide this week after claiming the 54-hole format is ‘more exciting’ for fans.

Smith withdrew from LIV Golf’s last event in Miami before a T6 finish at the Masters. Before that, he lost in a playoff in Hong Kong. The Aussie is close to being back to his best and what a week this would be to win his first event this season. Smith finished in a tie for third at The Grange last year and is poised to contend once more.
