Macdonald Cardrona – Course of the Week

Designed by Dave Thomas Cardrona is a championship length mix of parkland and woodland at 6, 900-yards. Signature holes include a trio of delights on the front nine.

With water left and right of the green, the par three 5th is a suitably equipped card wrecker.

The next, a par five, requires a carry over a burn into a narrow landing area while trying to avoid large fairway bunkers. The seventh is another feature hole. A dog-leg to the right with another narrow drive will see you stuck between taking on the woodland to the right, or playing safe to the left and avoiding more sand traps.
