Costa Navarino will stage the second edition of the Messinia Pro-Am across three signature courses this autumn.

The international 54-hole event will take place in the golfing haven of the Greek region Messinia on the Mediterranean coast from September 13-17.

Attendees will be able to enjoy three of the Navarino destination’s four picturesque courses throughout the tournament – The Dunes Course, The Bay Course and the International Olympic Academy Golf Course, which was named as the ‘World’s Best New Golf Course at the 2022 World Golf awards.

• ‘Augusta of Europe’ set for grand reopening

Sanctioned by the Confederation of Professional Golf and supported by the Hellenic Golf Federation and the PGA of Greece, the Messinia Pro-Am features a maximum of 75 teams, each comprising one professional and three amateurs. The tournament’s total prize fund will reach €70,000.

The event will take place across four days with prizes available for both individuals and teams, with plenty of social activities also taking place during the Greek golfing bonanza.

Each course is located at Navarino Hills, named the ‘World’s Best New Golf Development’ at the 2020 World Golf Awards.

The development stretches over 500 hectares and overlooks the glorious Navarino Bay.

AEGEAN Airlines, a partner of Costa Navarino, the Confederation of Professional Golf (CPG) and PGA of Greece, is once again the official carrier for the Messinia Pro-Am.

The airline will offer special airline ticket prices for participants teeing it up in the event.
