Set in the heart of Scotland, Stirling Golf Club boasts the inspiring backdrop of Stirling Castle.
In 2019, Stirling celebrates its 150th year, having been formed in 1869. The course was originally designed by Old Tom Morris and has been modified by James Braid, Henry Cotton and, most recently, by Howard Swan. However, golf on the grounds at Stirling dates back to 1506, with a match involving King James VI and the Earl of Bothwell.
The course is renowned for its condition, playability, tree-lined fairways and excellent greens.
A new indoor golf studio has just been added, while the clubhouse is renowned for the quality of its food. Members enjoy special meal offers with Fish Friday and Steak Saturday requiring advance bookings due to their popularity.
Other membership benefits include a free lesson from PGA pro Kenny Monaghan, who is supported by fellow pros Heather MacRae and Scott Borrowman.
